Appreciate the honest look at the ups and downs of the solo journey, thanks Andrew! I feel you on the toddler phase being a rollercoaster (especially when you're working from home) - hopefully your new house has a good office space and a solid core door to it.

I'm converting a traditional "living room" in my office since we spend most of our time in the family room. It def needs doors though haha.

That’s exactly what we did. New England houses love their multiple living room layouts. I was all excited to deduct the percentage of the house based on square footage for home office but then learned that got removed from the tax code in 2017

Make sure you get a solid core door, but I probably don’t need to tell you that since you do woodworking
